Full and partial dentures that restore chewing, speech and confidence.
When several or all teeth are missing, dentures restore both function and appearance. A complete denture replaces all the teeth in an arch, while a partial denture fills in around remaining natural teeth, held securely in place and removable for cleaning.
Complete dentures come in two forms. A conventional denture is made after the gums have healed from any extractions (typically 8 to 12 weeks), giving the most accurate long-term fit. An immediate denture is made in advance and placed the same day teeth are removed, so you never go without teeth while you heal, with adjustments as the gums settle.
Dr. Williams will help you weigh the options, including whether implants could anchor or replace a denture for a more secure fit.
